welcome to the world

Jon and I are finally an aunt and uncle! Our first niece was born Friday, which just happened to be Mrs. Pam's birthday! We are so excited to welcome Emilynn McCarthy Lieb to the family :) She was born at 12:10pm at Thomas Hospital, weighing 6 pounds, 3 ounces (tiny little thing) and measuring 18.5 inches long. She's so sweet and elegant, just like her name!

Jon, Bennett and I just left the hospital a few minutes ago and were finally able to get our hands on her. She is just perfect. So tiny, so innocent, so pretty. She looks a lot like her momma. Bennett was able to meet her too - He looks like an absolute giant sitting next to her! He looked at her like "this looks fun to play with!". It's incredible to think that our sweet boy was never her size! We are so ecstatic to have a niece and Bennett to have his first cousin - It's gonna be fun times for the two of them.

Happy birthday to sweet Emilynn and Mrs. Pam! What a wonderful day August 19th will always be :) I think she's the best birthday present Mrs. Pam will ever receive!
