great grandmas are great!

We were invited to lunch yesterday by Mrs. Pam. So excited to have an invitation to go somewhere and not have our usual lean cuisine (me) and fruit/veggie (Bennett) lunch in the kitchen with Norman. But we were mostly excited because we were eating lunch with the lovely ladies, Lily and Elinor! We don't see them nearly as often as we should, and I know they love to see Bennett whenever they can. It's like Mrs. Pam says, 'You wake up to a different child every morning" when you have a baby, which couldn't be more true. So I'm sure only seeing him every few weeks is quite astonishing to someone when they see how much he has grown physically and developmentally. I mean, he amazes me on a daily basis with something new he has picked up from someone. So, anyway, back to the grandmas! We were excited to share a delicious lunch with both of them, Mrs. Pam and Ashley-Lynn (who is about to pop any day now :). Bennett wooed the crowd with flirty smiles, gibberish and giggles while we lunched on a wonderful chicken/pasta salad and tomatoes all made by Mrs. Pam. I could have eaten the whole bowl of salad... it was that good! It was such a good time had by all, and I hope to continue this in the future.

We loved it - great conversation, great food and great grandmas!

P.S. Bennett's 'first' ride (besides a stroller, car & boat) was Lil's walker - he LOVED it!
