sunday morning fun in the sun

First off, just wanted to post this photo of our handsome little man. Outfit, paci and those eyes all wrapped up into one photo sure melts my heart :)

Secondly, these photos are B's first time playing with the hose. Jon was doing his usual Green Egg smoking on Sunday morning, while I decided to stick my white legs in the sun for a few minutes before lunch to soak up some Vitamin D. So, it was time to introduce Bennett to the water hose. An unsupervised, unchaperoned type of introduction. Just let him explore and have fun all while still wearing his jammy jams! Days like this are the ones that I hope to remember forever. The simple pleasures at home that we so too often take for granted. Needless to say, he LOVED it! Since then, anytime we are outside (which is always) he immediately takes off to the side of the house to grab the hose. And let me just tell you, when Momma is not in the 'soaking wet' mood and politely tells him lets play with something else, he quickly lets me know what he thinks about that idea!

And then we finished our fun morning with a picnic outside on the deck... Buggy's favorite menu of watermelon, pineapple and sweet potato. A great morning to remember :)
