lake martin a litte late

A few months back, my sweet friend, Kelly, invited a few of us mommas and babies to a fun get-a-way at her in-laws awesome vacation home on Lake Martin. I cannot begin to explain how much fun it was! Just what B and I needed and the timing couldn't have been better. We packed up the car, picked Kelly and the little ladies up, packed the car again, and headed to our destination with lots of anticipation of fun and excitement. And trust me, when you throw seven mommas and nine kiddos together, there is lots of fun, excitement and chaos to enjoy :) We spent the days playing in the yard and kiddie pools, eating lunch on the dock, eating popsicles and sipping wine on the back deck in the evenings and just enjoying one another's company. It was get-a-way to remember always and I cannot begin to thank Kelly enough for including us in the adventure.

I don't know what it was about those Corona Light bottles, but those babies couldn't get enough of them! And trust me, no child consumed any alcohol whatsoever during this photo shoot or any other time for that matter. The kiddos dunked them in the pools, teethed on them a little, and poured water everywhere as soon as they would fill them up. However, the mommas sure found it relaxing to have a few with a twist of lime in the sunshine that day!
