monkey see, monkey do

And yes, I do believe I just called myself a 'monkey'!

Buggy amazes me day after day. He picks up on everything, and I mean everything that I or anyone else does. He doesn't let anything past him. I always joke that he naps only once a day now because he can't stand to miss out on the action... which I sometimes really believe is true.

Last week I was blow drying my hair, like I do everyday. B loves to take all my brushes and makeup out of the drawers while I get ready and really loves to carry my big brush around. Well, while I was blow drying my hair, he kept trying his hardest to take the brush out of my hand. When I wouldn't let him, he just stood right next to my head (I was sitting on the floor) and I mean so close to my head I was worried about hitting him in the face while I was drying my hair. After I finished, I unplugged the hairdryer, retracted the cord and put it on the floor to cool off before laying it back in the drawer. I got up to do something, noticing that B was still rummaging through my makeup. When I came back into the room I found Buggy walking around with the big brush in one hand and the hairdryer in the other. He stopped in front of the mirror, where I was sitting earlier, and began lifting the brush and dryer to his hair. I just giggled as he attempted again and again. He was trying to blow dry his hair too!

I know every parent has those moments of 'my child is so smart' and that was one of my many 'my child is so smart' moments! Like I said, Buggy amazes me day after day :)
