Ok, so it's been what... months? Well, we've been extremely busy traveling, dressing up, partying, decorating, playing and working. I always remember October through December being a blur in the past three years with Christmas Cards being my busiest time of the year. But if there is a word that trumps blur, than that would be what this year's past couple of months have been when you throw a wild child toddler in the mix :) Fun, busy, exciting, crazy, non-sleeping word that trumps blur!
Below are several photos to recap our life since October. Yes, and where better to start the recap than starting with October 3rd to be exact. October 3, 2011 - the day I turned the big three-o. You know, all the hype you hear from people, all the negativity with saying good bye to your twenties, blah, blah, blah. I'm happy to say 30 didn't really phase me... just that I'm enjoying this year being a family of three (well fam of four when you include the four-legged shedding hairball we love so much), chasing Buggy around the house, building Rice Designs, drinking a few glasses of wine here and there, thanking God for our health and celebrating family and friends with dinners and lots of laughs. Don't get me wrong, I'm not saying life is perfect by any means, but I really can't find anything to complain about when I reflect on everything my 30s has brought to me this far.
Sweet Jon surprised me for my birthday and took us to 30A for the weekend! Excited doesn't even begin to explain what I felt when I found these three envelopes on my dining room table.
